Dr Ramya Raman is a GP and respected leader in Australian general practice, bringing together her experience as a practice owner, medical educator and health advocate with a strong record of service to the profession.

As Chair of the RACGP WA Faculty and through her broader service across RACGP roles, Ramya understands the College, its members and the realities facing general practice across Australia. She brings the judgement to know what should be protected, the clarity to identify what must change, and the resolve to lead through difficult decisions.

Recognised as GP of the Year and AMA Advocate of the Year, Ramya believes general practice must be respected, properly funded and central to the future of healthcare in Australia and for GPs, practices and the communities they serve.
